Ethiopia Human Capital Forum 2025 Kicks Off in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, October 2, 2025 (FMC) — The Ethiopia Human Capital Forum 2025 opened today at the Adwa Memorial Hall in Addis Ababa, bringing together national and international stakeholders to deliberate on strategies that strengthen human capital and accelerate inclusive economic growth.

Hosted by the Government of Ethiopia in partnership with the World Bank Group, the two-day forum is being held under the theme “Building Skills, Fueling Jobs, Driving Development.”

The gathering features high-level discussions on advancing human development, creating sustainable jobs, and fostering livelihoods, with policymakers, experts, and development partners sharing innovative solutions.

A Skills Exhibition has also been organized, showcasing the achievements of students and beneficiaries from technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and livelihood support programs, demonstrating the link between skills development and employment opportunities.

Beyond the discussions, the forum provides a platform for networking and exchange of ideas among participants from diverse sectors, underlining Ethiopia’s commitment to placing human capital at the center of its development agenda.
