Ethiopia’s Ruling Prosperity Party concludes annual senior leadership training

Addis Ababa, November 9, 2025 (FMC) – The ruling Prosperity Party (PP) has wrapped up its annual senior leadership training, culminating in closing directives from the party’s President and Ethiopia’s Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed (PhD).

The training, attended by nearly 2,000 senior party leaders from across the country, focused on strengthening unity of thought, enhancing practical implementation of party policies, and advancing the party’s vision under the theme “Sectors’ Leap Forward Through the Vision of the Medemer State.”

The party’s Vice President and Executive Head, Adem Farah, said the program was held in Adama and Addis Ababa from October 29 to November 9, 2025, covering a wide range of topics relevant to party leadership and national development.

Mr. Adem Farah described the training as a “true reflection of the party’s commitment to unity in diversity” and emphasized its importance in creating cohesion among senior leaders while promoting actionable strategies for the country’s progress.

He also expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the program, including coordinators, trainers, moderators, security personnel, and government institutions such as the Oromia Regional State Government, Adama City Administration, and Addis Ababa City Administration.

The program included lectures, group discussions, experience-sharing sessions, and field visits to development projects, all designed to reinforce leadership capacities and align the party’s senior officials with its strategic vision for Ethiopia’s growth and development.
