PM Abiy Holds Bilateral Talks with Leaders of Senegal, Somalia and Tanzania on Regional Cooperation

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2026 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with African leaders on the sidelines of the 39th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa.

He held a bilateral meeting with Ousmane Sonko, Prime Minister of Senegal, and discussed key issues of mutual interest.

PM Abiy also met with Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, President of Somalia, to engage on bilateral matters.

On the same day, the Prime Minister engaged in discussions with President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania, focusing on advancing bilateral relations and collaboration in priority areas.
