Huawei Recertified as Top Employer 2026 in Africa, Reaffirms Strong HR Excellence Across 10 Countries

Addis Ababa, May 25, 2026 (FMC) — Huawei has once again been recognized as a Top Employer for 2026 in Africa, reinforcing its consistent performance in human resource excellence and workplace development across the region.

The latest certification, announced by the Top Employers Institute, marks the sixth consecutive year that Huawei has earned the regional Top Employer distinction in Africa. The recognition highlights the company’s continued commitment to implementing high-standard human resources policies focused on employee well-being, talent development, and inclusive workplace practices.

On a national level, Huawei also secured Top Employer certification in 10 countries across Northern Africa and beyond, including Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon, Mali, Algeria, Ethiopia, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Tunisia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The Top Employers Institute—an international authority in evaluating workplace excellence—assesses organizations through its HR Best Practices Survey, which examines companies across six core domains: Steer, Shape, Attract, Develop, Engage, and Unite. These categories cover a broad range of HR themes such as talent strategy, recruitment, learning and skills development, employee well-being, workplace environment, diversity, and inclusion.

According to the Institute, the certification reflects companies that consistently prioritize people-centered policies and foster work environments that enable employees to thrive both professionally and personally.
