Ethiopian Airlines to Resume Regular Flights to Mekelle on October 11

Addis Ababa, October 9, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it will resume regular flight services to Mekelle, the capital of Tigray region, which had been temporarily suspended, effective October 11, 2026.

The national flag carrier said passengers can now book flights and purchase tickets for travel to the city, ahead of the resumption of services.
