Ambassador Legesse Tulu Sworn In as Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Djibouti

Addis Ababa, October 14, 2025 (FMC) – Ambassador Legesse Tulu, appointed as Ethiopia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Djibouti, was officially sworn in after receiving his credentials from President Taye Atske Selassie.

The oath of office was administered by Tewodros Mihret, President of the Federal Supreme Court. During the occasion, President Taye provided Ambassador Legesse with guidance to further strengthen the longstanding and multifaceted relations between Ethiopia and Djibouti.

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos and State Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye.
