Addis Ababa, August 28, 2025 (FMC) – Botswana’s Vice President, Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe, arrived in Addis Ababa on Thursday to participate in a high-level ministerial conference focused on combating money laundering and curbing illicit financial flows across the continent.
Vice President Gaolathe was received at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport by Ethiopia’s Minister of Finance, Ahmed Shide, and State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Birhanu Tsegaye.
During his stay, the Vice President is expected to join fellow ministers and senior officials in deliberations aimed at strengthening regional and continental mechanisms to prevent financial crimes and enhance economic governance.
