Addis Ababa, February 9, 2026 (FMC) — The Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Temesgen Truneh, met on Monday with the newly elected leadership of the Ethiopian Council of Gospel Believers Churches.
He commended the council’s leadership for the successful organization of its 5th Ordinary General Assembly, which brought together council members, community leaders, and invited guests.
The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed that the government will continue to work closely with the council’s leadership on matters of national importance and provide necessary support in line with its mandate.
He also extended his best wishes to the council’s leadership for every success during their term of service.
