Addis Ababa, February 12, 2026 (FMC) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Honourable Justice Nthomeng Majara, arrived in Addis Ababa this afternoon to attend the 39th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, scheduled for February 14-15.
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, Deputy Prime Minister Majara was accorded a warm welcome by Ethiopia’s Minister of Labor and Skills, Muferiat Kamil, and State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye.
The arrival of the Deputy Prime Minister comes as African leaders and high-level delegates from across the world are converging in Addis Ababa for the AU Summit, alongside the 2nd Italy-Africa Summit, reflecting the city’s growing role as a hub for continental and international diplomacy.
