Addis Ababa, November 26, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopia’s Minister of Defense, Aisha Mohammed, who is in Doha for a three-day working visit, held talks on Wednesday with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, on key bilateral matters.
During the meeting, the two officials expressed their commitment to further strengthening diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and Qatar and to advancing cooperation for mutual benefit.
Their talks placed particular emphasis on expanding collaboration in the defense sector. The ministers also expressed a strong interest in broadening cooperation across additional areas, including investment and capacity building.
Ethiopian National Defense Force’s (ENDF) online media team told Fana Media Corporation that the meeting underscored both countries’ desire to enhance their partnership across multiple fields.
