Addis Ababa, December 13, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopia-Romania Business Forum was held recently and hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB) and facilitated by the Association of Foreign Employees in Romania (AASR).
The business forum brought together Romanian policy makers, business owners and potential investors.
A delegation from the Ethiopian embassy in Switzerland, accredited to Romania, actively participated in the business forum.
Mr. Iuliu Stocklosa, President of CCIB, delivered welcoming remarks highlighting Romania’s interest in expanding economic and investment cooperation with Ethiopia.
Ambassador Tsegab presented Ethiopia’s trade, investment, and tourism opportunities, emphasizing priority sectors,recent reforms, and the country’s growing economic potential. A delegate also provided a detailed briefing on trade, tourism, investment opportunities, and incentives in Ethiopia.
Participants engaged in an interactive Q&A session on investment frameworks, sectoral prospects, and business facilitation. Ambassador Tsegab responded to questions, providing clarifications and encouraging Romanian’s engagement in Ethiopia.
The forum concluded with a networking session featuring traditional Ethiopian coffee, providing participants with an opportunity for informal exchanges and further discussions, the Ethiopian Permanent Mission in Geneva told Fana Media Corporation.
