Addis Ababa, June 9, 2026 (FMC) — The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has announced that it has approved election results from 24 constituencies as the process of compiling and verifying results from Ethiopia’s 7th General Election continues.
NEBE Chairperson Melatwork Hailu said in a statement this evening that results from polling stations have been posted in all constituencies, except for two, as part of ongoing post-election procedures.
She noted that the National Election Board has been engaged in continuous processing of results for both the House of Peoples’ Representatives and regional council seats since the completion of voting on June 1, 2026.
According to the Board, the approved results cover 24 constituencies located across the , , , and .
NEBE stated that the result compilation and verification process remains ongoing in the remaining constituencies as part of the broader national electoral process.
