Addis Ababa, April 11, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) today received at his office the President and Chairman of Board of Directors of the African Export–Import Bank (Afreximbank), George Elombi, the Ethiopian leader disclosed in a social media post today.
In hisnsocial media post, PM Abiy Ahmed mentioned that the discussions focused on strengthening strategic partnerships between Ethiopia and Afreximbank.
It is known that Afreximbank is a pan-African supranational multilateral financial institution created in 1993 under the auspices of the African Development Bank.
