Addis Ababa, February 2, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) is scheduled to address Ethiopia’s House of Peoples’ Representatives (Parliament) tomorrow, February 3, to present a mid-year assessment of the federal government’s performance and outline priorities for the remainder of the 2025/26 fiscal year.
The Prime Minister is expected to provide a comprehensive review of progress across all sectors—including economic, political, social, and diplomatic affairs—highlighting achievements, ongoing initiatives, and planned actions for the months ahead.
He will also respond to questions from members of the House, clarifying government strategies, policy implementation, and sector-specific performance.
