Addis Ababa, December 23, 2025 (FMC) — The books Medemer, The Medemer Path, Generation Medemer, and The Medemer State, authored by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, are now available in audio format through the newly launched Medemer application, the Office of the Prime Minister announced today.
According to the Office, the ideas articulated in the Medemer series have played a role in guiding Ethiopia toward a new chapter within a short period, through a people-centred approach aimed at building a diversified economy. The concepts presented in the books are described as extending beyond theory, with practical application during recent years of reform.
The Office noted that the Medemer philosophy has contributed to tangible outcomes and inspired renewed hope as reforms were implemented across various sectors.
The announcement was made during an event held to mark the launch of the Medemer application, where correspondents from the Office of the Prime Minister discussed reform results achieved in recent years under the Medemer framework.
In addition to their print editions, the availability of the books in audio format is expected to expand public access to the ideas and principles outlined in the Medemer series, the Office said.
