According to the program, the five days of Pagumen are marked as follows:

Pagumen 1 – Resilience Day: “Firm Foundation for a Resilient Nation,” recognizing those who contribute to peace, stability, and prosperity.

Pagumen 2 – Diversity Day: “Diversity: The Beauty of Ethiopia,” reinforcing national solidarity and the value of the country’s cultural and social mosaic.

Pagumen 3 – Progress Day: “Progress for Sustainable Growth,” celebrating achievements of the past fiscal year and setting goals for the new one.

Pagumen 4 – Renewal Day: “Sustainable Development for National Revival,” reflecting the nation’s strides in reform and transformation.

In his message, Prime Minister Abiy emphasized that Ethiopia is a land richly blessed, with diversity forming the essence of these blessings. He noted that the nation’s multiplicity in culture, language, history, civilization, faith, and perspectives is not a source of division, but rather a collective heritage and strength.

“Diversity is the history and the face of Ethiopia,” the Prime Minister underlined, calling for national solidarity rooted in mutual respect and appreciation of this shared identity.
