PM Abiy holds discussion with health sector professionals

Addis Ababa, June 21, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) held a consultative meeting today with health professionals drawn from across the country, continuing his recent series of stakeholder engagements aimed at strengthening key public sectors.

The session focused on identifying challenges in the health sector, exploring opportunities for improvement, and evaluating the progress made in healthcare delivery and institutional capacity.

In a message shared via social media following the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized that the exchange allowed for constructive dialogue on sectoral gaps while highlighting shared efforts toward enhanced public health services.

The discussion is the latest in a string of engagements the Prime Minister has held over the past two weeks with various groups, including members of the business community, educators, artists, and opposition political parties—reflecting the government’s continued emphasis on inclusive consultation and collaborative problem-solving.
