Addis Ababa, July 13, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held talks with President Romuald Wadagni of Benin at his office today, focusing on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation between the two countries.
Following the discussions, Prime Minister Abiy said in a social media message that he had held a productive discussion with President Wadagni on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring opportunities for greater cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The prime minister expressed his commitment to building on the shared efforts of the two countries toward a deeper partnership and lasting friendship.
President Romuald Wadagni arrived in Addis Ababa earlier today for an official working visit to Ethiopia.
