Addis Ababa, May 26, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) held talks today with his Italian counterpart Giorgia Meloni at Palazzo Chigi in Rome.
The discussion between the two prime ministers focused on strengthening bilateral ties, enhancing multilateral cooperation.
The two leaders also explored new opportunities for investment and economic partnership between Ethiopia and Italy, a social media post by the Ethiopian PM disclosed.
The two prime ministers also reaffirmed their shared commitment to deepening collaboration across sectors, guided by mutual respect and the longstanding friendship between the two nations.
Note that Prime Minister Abiy and his high-level delegation are paying a working visit to Italy following the conclusion of the visit to France.
