Addis Ababa, April 9, 2026 (FMC) — The President of Burundi and current Chairperson of the African Union, Évariste Ndayishimiye, arrived in Addis Ababa this morning for an official working visit to Ethiopia.
Upon arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, he was received by Ethiopia’s Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh, who welcomed him with a ceremonial reception.
