Addis Ababa, September 2, 2025 (FMC) — President Taye Atske Selassie has appointed Legesse Tulu as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
The Office of the President announced that the appointment was made pursuant to Article 71, Sub-Article 3 of the Constitution, which grants the Head of State the authority to designate ambassadors, as reported by local news agency ENA.
Legesse previously served as Minister of Communication Service, bringing his leadership experience in government to his new diplomatic role.
