Addis Ababa, August 28, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopia’s President Taye Atske-Selassie held talks with Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sihasak Phuangketkeow, today on ways to expand bilateral engagement between Addis Ababa and Bangkok.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the longstanding ties between Ethiopia and Thailand and explored opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation.
The talks also underscored the two countries’ interest in building on their longstanding relationship and identifying new areas of cooperation that can further advance their shared interests.
