Addis Ababa, December 25, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended Christmas greetings to people around the world, emphasizing the values of kindness and shared hope.
In a message shared on his official social media pages on Thursday morning, the Prime Minister wished a “Merry Christmas” to what he described as the global family.
He highlighted kindness as a value that transcends borders and underscored the importance of collective efforts in building hope.
It is noteworthy that Ethiopian Christians are set to celebrate Christmas, known as Genna, on January 7, 2026.
