Addis Ababa, May 12, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has returned to Addis Ababa this afternoon following his participation at the Africa Forward Summit held in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Prime Minister attended the high-level summit alongside African leaders and international partners, where discussions focused on key continental priorities including green industrialization, energy transition, economic transformation, and global financial reform.
The Africa Forward Summit is co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, and brought together heads of state, government officials, and global stakeholders.
