Addis Ababa, September 28, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has appointed Ms. Chaltu Sani as Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Housing Corporation, effective September 28, 2026.
Ms. Chaltu Sani takes up the new assignment after serving as Ethiopia’s Minister of Urban and Infrastructure Development.
The appointment comes as the federal government continues its institutional appointments and reorganization following the 2026 national election and the commencement of a new five-year government term.
