Dire Mesob One-Stop Center Providing Digital Government Services in 73 Service Areas
Addis Ababa, March 8, 2026 (FMC) — The Dire Mesob One-Stop Center is currently providing digital government services to citizens across 73 service areas, the Office of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia said.
Located in Dire Dawa, the center occupies a land area of more than 3,000 square meters and consists of a five-story building with a terrace.
The facility is equipped with the necessary infrastructure to support efficient and streamlined service delivery.
The center includes a reception area, childcare facility, call center, administrative offices, training rooms, an information and technology center, a situation monitoring room, a meeting hall, parking spaces, and a cafeteria service area.
The Mesob One-Stop Service Center initiative is a government program in Ethiopia aimed at modernizing public service delivery by integrating services from multiple government institutions into a single, digitally supported platform. Through this system, citizens can access a wide range of public services in one location, reducing the need to visit different offices and helping streamline administrative procedures, paperwork, and waiting times.
The initiative is being implemented through dedicated service centers established in different cities, where services from several federal institutions are delivered through integrated digital systems. The Dire Mesob One-Stop Service Center in Dire Dawa is one of the facilities established under this national initiative, providing digital government services across dozens of service areas as part of the broader effort to improve efficiency, accessibility, and coordination in public service delivery.
