Ethiopia and Brazil sign MoU on agricultural cooperation

Addis Ababa, May 25, 2025 (FMC) — Ethiopia and Brazil Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Agricultural Cooperation at the conclusion of the Brazil-Africa Dialogue on Agriculture and Food Security that was held in Brasilia from May 19-23, 2025.

The MoU was signed by Ethiopia’s Ambassador to Brazil, Leulseged Tadese and Brazil’s Minister of Agriculture & Livestock, Mr. Carlos Favaro.

The MoU would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries in the agricultural sector, particularly in plant health, livestock breeding, capacity building, research and technology transfer.
