Ethiopia, South Sudan agree to elevate the ties to a strategic partnership

Addis Ababa, March 7, 2025 (FMC) — Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gedion Timothewos, who arrived in Juba today for a working visit, met with Ramadan Mohammed Abdallah Goc, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan.

The ministers have agreed to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and elevate the ties to a strategic partnership.

The dignitaries have also agreed to work more closely to strengthen economic cooperation and enhance the people-to-people ties between the two countries.
