Ethiopian Defense Marching Band Captivates Moscow Festival Audience

Addis Ababa, August 22, 2025 (FMC) — The Ethiopian Defense Marching Band made a striking debut at the Spasskaya Tower International Marching Band Festival in Moscow, captivating audiences with a vibrant showcase of music and cultural expression.

Invited by the Russian government, the Ethiopian contingent performed for the first time at the renowned event, held in Moscow’s iconic Red Square. The appearance drew wide attention from local and international media, with Russia news agency Sputnik praising Ethiopia’s presentation under the headline: “Ethiopia Shines at the Heart of Moscow: Showcasing Culture and Music.”
