PM Abiy Ahmed Arrives in Djibouti for Regional Consultations

Addis Ababa, March 12, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his high-level delegation arrived in Djibouti in the early hours of Thursday, the Office of the Prime Minister announced.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit is aimed at engaging in discussions on regional matters.

Photos shared by the Office indicate that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held discussions with Ismail Omar Guelleh and Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who were present alongside members of their respective delegations.
