He also added a lighthearted remark, noting: “Remember, you are eight years younger when you visit Ethiopia.” The comment playfully refers to Ethiopia’s unique calendar, which runs several years behind the Gregorian calendar.

The message further emphasized resilience and collective effort, stating: “May this New Year be a testament to our resilience. It is a time to renew our commitment to one another, ensuring that when we walk together, no mountain is too high and no dream is out of reach.”
