PM Abiy Ahmed reviews data analysis and research activities at SSGI

Addis Ababa, May 28, 2025 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) visited the Ethiopian Space Science and Geospatial Institute (SSGI), the Office of the Prime Minister announced today.

The Institute is a national research center dedicated to analyzing data from both earth-based and space sources, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Its scientific research supports various institutions by providing data-driven forecasts and predictive insights.

During the visit, the Prime Minister observed research activities across departments, each specializing in different areas of geospatial analysis and data interpretation.
