PM Abiy Holds Bilateral Talks with Leaders of Libya and Botswana on Regional Cooperation

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2026 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held bilateral discussions with the leaders of Libya and Botswana, focusing on regional developments, bilateral relations, and cooperation.

He met with Mohamed al-Menfi, Chairman of the Presidential Council of the State of Libya, to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.

The Prime Minister also held talks with President Duma Boko of Botswana to discuss bilateral relations, regional issues, opportunities for enhanced economic cooperation, and exchanges on nurturing the next generation of African leaders.

The meetings were held on the sidelines of the 39th African Union Summit, currently taking place in Addis Ababa with the participation of African heads of state and government.
