PM Abiy Shares Holiday Gifts with Staff and Orphans at Office of the Prime Minister

Addis Ababa, January 6, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, alongside members of the Council of Ministers, spent part of the holiday season with staff of the Office of the Prime Minister and children under the Office’s care, highlighting the human side of leadership.

As families across the country prepared to celebrate the holidays, the Prime Minister shared food items and gifts with low-income employees and orphans supported by the Office.

The gesture recognized the contributions of staff whose daily work often goes unseen and reaffirmed a collective commitment to children who have lost parental care, ensuring they remain valued members of society, the Office of the Prime Minister said.
