President Taye Lays Wreath at Patriots’ Victory Monument

Addis Ababa, May 5, 2025 (FMC) — President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Taye Atske-Selassie, laid a wreath today at the Patriots’ Victory Monument in commemoration of the 84th anniversary of Ethiopian Patriots’ Victory Day.

Locally known as Miyaziya 27, the day was marked with a ceremony held at the Patriots’ Victory Monument in the Arat Kilo area of Addis Ababa.

The event was attended by President Taye, members of the Addis Ababa-based diplomatic community, senior government officials, veterans, and residents of the capital.

Also present were leaders and members of the Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), Daniel Jote Mesfin, President of the Ancient Ethiopian Patriots Association, ambassadors from various countries, veterans of the resistance, and invited guests.
