Prime Minister Abiy Extends New Year Support to Low-Income Staff and Orphaned Children

Addis Ababa, September 7, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended holiday support to low-income staff of the Office of the Prime Minister and orphaned children under the institution’s care as Ethiopians prepare to celebrate the upcoming New Year, his office said in a social media post shared this morning.

The Prime Minister distributed food items to staff members facing economic challenges, aimed at easing the burden of holiday expenses. In addition, school supplies were provided to orphaned children being supported by the Prime Minister’s Office.
