Prime Minister Abiy meets Abu Dhabi Crown Prince to strengthen strategic partnerships
Addis Ababa, November 22, 2025 (FMC) — On the sidelines of the ongoing G20 Leaders Summit 2025 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed met with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The discussions focused on enhancing strategic partnerships and exploring opportunities for collaboration between Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates across key sectors.
In a post shared on his official social media page, Prime Minister Abiy described the meeting as an honor, emphasizing the importance of building strong ties and mutually beneficial cooperation.
