Prime Minister Abiy welcomes Vice President of Nigeria Kashim Shettima

Addis Ababa, June 26, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed welcomed Vice President of Nigeria Mr. Kashim Shettima this evening.

In a message shared on his social media channels, Prime Minister Abiy confirmed that they discussed key bilateral and continental issues.

It noteworthy that Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Addis Ababa this evening for an official visit.

Upon arrival at the Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, the Nigerian official was warmly welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mr. Gedion Timothewos.
