Roscongress highlights centuries-old cordial relations between Ethiopia and Russia

Addis Ababa, December 23, 2024 (FMC) – Participation of Ethiopia in key international events organized by Roscongress Foundation discussed in Moscow.

CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev and Ambassador of Ethiopia to Russia Genet Teshome noted the centuries-old friendly nature of relations between Russia and Ethiopia.

The two sides also explored ways of expanding joint initiatives within the largest international platforms, such as St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Eastern Economic Forum, St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, Russian Energy Week and Russian Tourism Forum.

“In 2024, we were glad to welcome our esteemed Ethiopian friends at key international events, such as the BRICS Summit in Kazan and the First Ministerial Conference of the Russia — Africa Partnership Forum in Sochi. We hope to continue the dialogue within the framework of our future key events,” stressed Alexander Stuglev.
