Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Welcomes Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud for Working Visit

Addis Ababa, October 12, 2025 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed today welcomed President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia, who arrived in Addis Ababa for a working visit.

According to images shared on the Prime Minister’s official social media pages, the two leaders held bilateral discussions at the National Palace and toured the National Science Museum in the capital.

“Today, I met with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia for discussions on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest,” Prime Minister Abiy stated on his social media platforms.
