High-level Ethiopian delegation meets with President of Djibouti to deepen bilateral cooperation

Addis Ababa, December 18, 2025 (FMC) – A high-level Ethiopian delegation led by Mr. Adem Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party and Head of the Democracy Building Center Coordinator Office, held talks with Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh on strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

The discussions focused on exploring avenues to deepen cooperation in multifaceted areas and on advancing shared interests through closer coordination and collaboration.

In the meeting held today, the two sides also reviewed the implementation of jointly managed projects aimed at reinforcing bilateral ties.

During the visit, the Ethiopian delegation toured the Doraleh Multipurpose Port, where it reviewed services facilitating Ethiopia’s import and export operations and assessed the status of heavy cargo transportation through the rail corridor linking the port with Ethiopia.
