FM Gedion and US Deputy Secretary of State discuss bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest

Addis Ababa. January 28, 2026 (FMC) – Ethiopia’s Foreign Minister Gedion Timothewos held talks today with US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau at his office.

The two sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Ethiopia and the United States.

They also exchanged views on regional matters of mutual interest.

Ethiopia and the United States enjoy 120 years of diplomatic relations.
