PM Abiy Ahmed receives the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Christopher T. Landau

Addis Ababa, January 28, 2026 (FMC) ‐ Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed receved at his office today the U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher T. Landau.

“I received a courtesy visit from the Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher T. Landau, alongside the Commander of U.S. Africa Command, General Dagvin Li Anderson, PM Abiy said in a social media post after the meeting.

Je added, “I appreciated the warm and constructive engagement, which underscored the importance of continued collaboration and mutual respect.”

Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau is here in Addis Ababa for working visot to Ethiopia.
