PM Abiy Ahmed Arrives in Kelem Welega Zone of the Oromia Region

Addis Ababa, February 18, 2026 (FMC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived this morning in Dembi Dolo town of Kelem Welega Zone, Oromia Region, the Office of the Prime Minister announced.

Upon his arrival at Dembi Dolo Airport, the Prime Minister and his delegation were accorded a warm reception by enthusiastic local residents and senior regional officials.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and his delegation will assess key development projects currently underway in the zone as part of the regional government’s ongoing efforts to advance socio-economic progress, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
