Ethiopia Showcases Citizen-Centered Digital Government Model at HUAWEI Connect 2026 in Shanghai

Addis Ababa, September 18, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopia’s MESOB Service has presented the country’s experience and lessons in digital government service delivery at HUAWEI Connect 2026 in Shanghai, China.

The presentation showcased MESOB’s emerging digital government service ecosystem and Ethiopia’s efforts to advance citizen-centered, integrated and accessible public services.

The international technology event provided a platform for Ethiopia to share its experience in developing a digital government service ecosystem and lessons from its ongoing efforts to make public services more integrated and accessible.

MESOB’s participation highlighted Ethiopia’s drive to place citizens at the center of digital public service delivery through an integrated approach to government services.

HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, running from September 17 to 19 in Shanghai, is bringing together technology and industry stakeholders to explore advances in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and intelligent infrastructure.

The event is being held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and Shanghai Expo Center under the theme “Advancing the Agentic World.”
