Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Returns to Addis Ababa Following Groundbreaking of Ethiopia-Djibouti Petroleum Pipeline

Addis Ababa, September 24, 2026 (FMC) — Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has returned to Addis Ababa after concluding his visit to Djibouti, where he attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ethiopia-Djibouti Petroleum Products Pipeline.

The Prime Minister’s visit followed the launch of the landmark infrastructure project, which is designed to strengthen the Ethiopia-Djibouti economic corridor and deepen cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
