Addis Ababa, July 28, 2025 (FMC) โ Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held discussions with President Azali Assoumani of the Union of the Comoros in Addis Ababa today, ahead of the Second United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS+4), which Ethiopia is co-hosting.
The two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation as well as regional issues of mutual concern. The meeting underscored the growing ties between Ethiopia and Comoros and highlighted both countriesโ shared interest in enhancing collaboration within regional and continental frameworks.
President Assoumani is among the high-level leaders attending the UNFSS+4 summit taking place at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) headquarters in Addis Ababa from July 28 to 30, 2025.
