Addis Ababa, April 27, 2026 (FMC) — President Daniel Francisco Chapo of Mozambique toured the National Palace Museum in Addis Ababa today as part of his official visit to Ethiopia.
During the visit, the Mozambican President was briefed on Ethiopia’s rich historical and cultural heritage, reflecting the country’s long-standing civilization and enduring legacy. The museum tour showcased elements of Ethiopia’s past as part of the broader narrative of the “Land of Origins,” where history and heritage remain central to national identity.
The visit underscored Ethiopia’s positioning of its ancient heritage as a foundation for its contemporary international engagement, highlighting continuity between historical strength and present-day efforts to deepen cooperation and partnership.
It also reflected Ethiopia’s approach of strengthening ties with African partners through shared history, mutual understanding, and a forward-looking spirit of collaboration.
