Ethiopian Airlines secures multiple int’l awards across cargo & passenger service categories

Addis Ababa, April 25, 2026 (FMC) — Ethiopian Airlines has strengthened its global aviation standing after winning multiple international accolades recognizing excellence in both cargo operations and passenger service.

The airline recently won the “Cargo Wings Award” as well as a special recognition for Outstanding Partnership at the Cargo Land Excellence Awards held in Liege.

In a statement shared on its social media platforms following the announcement, the airline said the awards reflect its unwavering operational reliability and its long-standing collaboration with the Cargo Land community at Liege Airport.

In addition, the airline secured three prestigious titles at the Pax Readership Awards 2026 held in Hamburg. The awards include “Best Food Service,” “Best Overall Passenger Experience” in Africa, and “Best Childcare Facilities.”

The recognitions were announced during an awards ceremony in Hamburg, further highlighting the airline’s continued excellence in passenger service delivery and customer experience.

Earlier, Ethiopian Airlines also won additional recognition at the same platform, reinforcing its strong performance across multiple service categories.

The series of international awards further consolidates Ethiopia’s position in global aviation and aligns with the airline’s long-term strategic ambition under its “Vision 2035” roadmap to become one of the world’s leading aviation groups, according to company data.
