Mekelle City’s Ruins Expose the Illegal TPLF Group’s Criminal Face of Looting and Destruction

Addis Ababa, October 15, 2026 (FMC) — The illegal TPLF group has once again exposed its destructive and plundering nature, proving itself to be a criminal force that serves neither Ethiopia nor the people of the Tigray Region.

Defeated and driven out of Mekelle, the group left behind a trail of destruction. The Tigray Regional President’s Office was rendered unusable, while public service institutions within its compound were subjected to looting and destruction.
